At an underground MMA club in central Oslo, we meet a group of young people, each struggling with personal challenges that constantly test their love for the sport. Fighter follows Sara, who dreams of becoming a professional MMA athlete. She also dreams of Andrea. And even though their feelings are mutual, their relationship must remain a secret. Her father, whom she looks up to, expects Sara to one day take over the family-owned halal butcher shops and sees martial arts as nothing more than a hobby. The film explores multiple themes. It is about family love and loyalty, but it is also a journey into the unknown—one filled with desperation, sorrow, betrayal, and the hope of new beginnings.

Ida has just arrived in Oslo to study psychology at the University, after dropping out of her literature studies in Trondheim. Ida's is anxious for most things. Not getting of the bus at the right stop, running out of toilet paper on the public toilet, environmental changes and world war three. But her greatest fear is terror.
