Jose is a biologist who suddenly needs to return to his hometown because his mother has passed away. She left him a large inheritance with a very important message: He must accomplish the expectations she had for him in life. Jose falls in love with Estela, his teenage neighbor, whose father has serious money problems and is also terribly sick.

Alan, a shy boy, attends a party forced by his best friend Jesús. When he's forced to go to the nearest store for some caguamas, he finds himself facing zombies invading the streets. Now Alan must make a decision: submit to them or fight for his life and figure out how to get back to the party.

A work that combines art, science, and culture. It is a project born from a dream come true, where knowledge and experience intersect with the aim of revaluing film as a common cultural asset. It is also a metaphor for the mechanized individual who dreams; for the human being in the industrialized world who works monotonously and tirelessly while imagining, planning, and constructing a collective cosmos. It is also the reproduction of ways of being and existing, an artifact that creates a landscape constructed by human and mechanical force, leaving traces that today constitute a heritage.

Machine Man is a documentary that explores memory through the encounter of two voices: that of the group Cabezas de Cera, which engages in a dialogue with the past through the musical accompaniment of the silent film “México Industrial,” and the voice of Don Rutilio, who, through oral accounts, constructs a memory of his life when he worked as a laborer at the Metepec Cotton Spinning, Weaving, and Finishing Factory, a film portrayed decades earlier by the group that currently provided the music.

An elderly widower visits a whorehouse looking for company, but finds himself drawn into a series of deceptions and collusion by the vultures that haunt him.
