12-year-old Sofija is seemingly facing a boring summer vacation with two grandmothers. However, new friendships, a first kiss, and long kept family secrets will turn this summer on the idyllic Adriatic island of Hvar into a priceless experience and an unforgettable adventure.

A man and a woman meet again after many years - on the territory and circumstances of post-socialist Bulgaria. A university graduate and poetess, forced to adapt herself to the new social environment, she survives in her own country as a tram driver. Having arrived for his father's funeral after years of travels abroad, he catches a glimpse of his old flame accidentally in a tram. Could they bring back their emotional time, the time of their lives? Could they try to resurrect whatever bound them together in their youth?

Two trains uncontrollably move towards each other within temporal boundaries of a human life. One of them is taking a genial young man to his unforeseen future; he would marry his beloved; have a son; become a brilliant doctor; do his duty and save the live of enemies of the communist regime; get a 20-years sentence for that. Prison would turn out to be an unbearable nightmare; his wife would eventually give in to the tortures of the authorities and seek divorce; this would mean no one to visit him in prison. 15 years without any news about his child, only a snapshot of his family on which the tree of them are smiling and happy.

Fleeing an abusive relationship, Mila, a teen prostitute, finds herself in a border town, pregnant, alone, and, to her surprise, welcome. The remote village is on a marijuana plantation run by a group of elderly men and women. Not having known much kindness, she goes into emotional hiding, but by the time the baby is born she has a new life and love. Her past, however, is not far behind

“God seems to have forgotten me… Why hasn’t He taken me yet?” Sister Regina is 104 years old. In December 1940, when she was 19, her family was forced to leave Bulgaria. Salvador, the ship carrying Jewish refugees to Palestine, sank during a storm; Regina’s mother and brother perished. Having reached Jerusalem, the young Jewish woman converted to Christianity and became Sister Regina. Eighty-five years later, she continues her life of faith.
