During the San Fermín celebrations in Pamplona in 1969, a man died when the bulls were let loose. There was nothing to identify him, except for the letter “H” on his keyring. Carlos Pardo Ros imagines this man’s last night: a drunken nocturnal stroll with the ghosts of H, at one of the world’s biggest folk festivals.

Based on the negatives of the 33 'La Tauromaquia' engravings made by Goya in 1816, the director invites us to witness the transformation of bodies at the approach of death.

On a cold winter afternoon, António and Jota return from the front with their friends, looking for an ancient Roman thermal bath. They joke with each other while wading through swamps, recounting past tactical glories. The baths have appeared after a long time spent under the water of a reservoir, and people of all ages curious about the discovery come to spend the day. But there is something mysterious about these thermal waters - as if the baths influence the mood of the men, giving them the courage to say things they have never told anyone. As day turns to night, they confess their feelings and their fears of losing their best friend forever.

A weary radio host encased in her headphones, Gal·la, plays Chopin’s Concerto No. 2 in F minor, interrupted by a child in a karate uniform. After the studio she reads a story to help him sleep, though no one quite manages. Encountering a stranger, the three begin a new broadcast that beams from their room. Sound is the main preoccupation of La nostra habitació, it encloses, intrudes, draws together and sets free.

A hot day in the Retiro. Romantic love, fidelity, relationships and sexual identity are some of the themes discussed with various young people and adolescents, in a series of conversations in which each protagonist, each physiognomy, opinion and expression is a discovery that adds layers of emotion and significance to the whole. And so the day slips by, calmly and with observational acuity, in a clarifying and surprising investigation into the future of love.
