Fouad, a 15-year-old Moroccan immigrant, and Max, a 27-year-old "old stock" Quebecer, both live frustrating lives. Their respective destinies lead them face to face, in a situation from which neither will emerge unscathed.

Frederic teaches a philosophy class in college. Cassandra is in love with Jynx and her mom Eloise is in love with Leo. GUILT intertwines several parallel stories and is an allegory of our desires and their consequences.

Suzanne’s husband has disappeared and she has no idea where he is. She’s stuck in her old house with Linda and Nicole who just won’t leave her alone. Linda is caring and wants to help Suzanne whereas Nicole is mounting suspicions on her. While looking for hints about her husband’s disappearance, a presence seems to prevent her from doing so. Is the house haunted or is Nicole playing a trick on her?
