Ana, a young filipina filmmaker, shoots a re-enactment of a fight she once had with her mother - a fight brought on by mutual refusals to communicate. Echoing the cultural pressure from her mother to work beyond her natural limits, Ana rewrites every single insult into a chance for forgiveness. As the story of her film diverges further and further from the memory of what happened, she questions whether her creative additions amount to yet another repression of the truth.

Science-brained 11-year-old Nora has finally convinced somebody - anybody - to join her club to debunk her school's religious nonsense. But when her Aunt Molly walks in on a secret meeting with... dubious research topics on the agenda, Nora is sent on a journey to protect her club, show her religion teacher who's boss, and ultimately learn the balance between facts and feelings.

Richard prepares dinner, however Thomas is dissatisfied with the meal, broccoli soup, arguing his mom would have made it better. Richard snaps at Thomas, who leaves his soup on the table and retreats to his bedroom. Richard is left alone, defeated, takes a seat on the couch and sees a commercial for Rob.B, a personal caretaker robot. The next day, Rob.B shows up to take care of Thomas, but after a puzzle piece goes missing, Rob.B tries to find it and ends up being electrocuted causing a malfunction. Julie returns to find her necklace and the now aggressive Rob.B chokes her unconscious. Richard and Thomas must learn to communicate and work together to defeat Rob.B.
