During the World Cup in Brasilia, we follow Maninho (Willian Jesus Vieira), a former professional soccer player who started working as a street vendor, selling water and national team flags. On the way to his new job, memories awaken a recent memory that is at once playful and melancholic. After all, which soccer player in Brazil has never dreamed of playing in a World Cup?

In a conversation between two generations of soccer fans, stories about the two World Cups that took place in Belo Horizonte are told. It was there that one of the biggest upsets in the history of soccer happened, England's defeat to the USA in 1950. A match in which the English believed they had already won, even before playing. The same thing happened with Brazil, in the sad match against Uruguay, which resulted in the "Maracanazo". In BH, 64 years later, an unprepared team believes it can beat Germany. Unprecedented scenes of a group of fans echo the perplexity that crossed the country during the 7-1 defeat of the Germans over the Brazilians, which led to the "Mineirazo".

Filmed in Rio de Janeiro, the film follows the World Cup from the point of view of two groups of young people from Rio: one that meets at the traditional fan stronghold in the Tijuca neighborhood, Alzirão, and the other made up of young people from the Frente Nacional dos Torcedores. While the first group dedicates itself to decorating its street in green and yellow, adorning it with banners and setting up a large screen to welcome thousands of fans, the other has an important political role on the streets, questioning the process of elitizing football, the high ticket prices and the billions spent on stadium renovations.

After the World Cup match schedule was drawn and the holidays were added, Salvador was left with only four working days. In other words, a big “holiday in Salvador” during a World Cup. Given this unusual situation, the film portrays those who are excited about the World Cup, fans and soccer fanatics, and also those for whom the World Cup does not arrive with the same fervor. We will experience important moments during the World Cup with them, looking at the same fact from different perspectives: soccer. The film presents the viewer with a Bahia that fans, but a real Bahia with its coastal areas, suburbs, commerce, historical and tourist areas. A real Bahia in its diversity and, of course, in its good humor.

They came by bike, on foot, by bus, in trailers... They crossed deserts, crossed the continent, slept on the streets, in hotels and in the favelas. Armed with their cameras, thousands of travelers traveled around Rio de Janeiro without spending much money and experienced the World Cup as a big party. Constructed entirely from images taken by the tourists themselves, the short film shows the Rio de Janeiro they discovered and the adventures of experiencing the other side of the World Cup.

The film explores the different points of view of foreigners living in São Paulo. While competing in a button soccer championship, each character representing their national team, they debate with their opponents relevant issues about what it is like to live in Brazil as a foreigner. The differences and similarities with their home country, the relationship built with the city of São Paulo and, of course, each one's relationship with soccer and the World Cup.

The commotion and details of a day for different people to watch a Brazilian team game, observing the peculiarities and the invisible thread that unites them.
