The young French environmentalist and Member of the European Parliament Yannick Jadot wonders how the wounded nuclear beast might still have a bright future ahead after Fukushima. A few weeks after this terrible accident, and while there is no time to lose, Yannick Jadot negotiates at the European Parliament for better security for the most nuclearized continent on the planet, whereas the majority political parties try to rationalize this extraordinary event. At the same time, the young deputy is an advisor to Eva Joly, the candidate for the presidential primary in the Ecologist party. They try to make visible and audible the necessity to abandon the atom during the campaign for the French presidential elections. But very soon he finds himself caught up in the spiral of events, strategy, polls and fake alliances.

Le Chant du Hoggar, a fictionalized documentary directed by Pierre Ichac, which takes as its theme the adventurous life of the Tuaregs of yesteryear, the setting being the lesser-known mountains and valleys of the Hoggar, and the actors being the Tuaregs themselves. This production, of considerable interest, was filmed last year by Pierre Ichac, a project manager for the General Government of Algeria. For six months, the young director, who traveled more than 7,000 kilometers by car and about 1,000 kilometers by Méhari through the Hoggar mountains, recorded 8,000 meters of film. The beautiful Fatimata reigns over all hearts in the wandering Tuareg tribe, with her herds, in the high valleys of the Hoggar. But she loves The Lion, the bravest of the young warriors of an enemy tribe. And it is Fatimata's name that The Lion lovingly carves on the rocks of the mountain.

The film is a continuous time-lapse with multiple exposures of the sunset from the same angle and position on 16mm film. The shoot was done in a span of 5 years. The title 13 is because the time-lapse has a 13-second interval per frame.

Patterson of course is far too drunk to understand anything happening and teams up with Dane Edna to save the world.
