The lion alternates between finding the food on the cage floor and reaching through the bars to swipe at the man, who stays alarmingly close to the beast. Not bad but hardly memorable breaking no new ground in the post-apocalyptic thriller genre. There were at least some interesting direction early on but I had no emotional connection with either two leads. **2.75/5**
