Bird Box: Barcelona offers a fresh perspective by following the story from the eyes of a "seer"—those who survive after seeing the deadly entity. The film maintains a mostly linear timeline with brief flashbacks to build character depth, especially for the protagonist. While it brings more direct interaction with the creatures, the emotional weight and character chemistry fall short compared to the original. The ending introduces a questionable scientific twist, slightly weakening the grounded tension. Despite its flaws, it remains a watchable spin-off for fans of the universe.
