Drawing inspiration from Japan’s legendary yokai, this film offers a conceptually intriguing premise but falls short in execution, resulting in a flat and less impactful experience. Weak character development, shallow conflict, and some technical flaws—like awkward split-screen choices and unconvincing visual effects—hinder the storytelling. Still, with decent performances and a culturally rich foundation, the film remains a watchable piece that could shine with further refinement.
