Cordelia

Cordelia ia a troubled, damaged soul who is only just recovering after some unnamed trauma; she is an actor rehearsing a play and comes to stay in a creepy London mansion flat occupied by her twin sister Caroline and Caroline’s boyfriend Matt. When they leave her alone there Cordelia strikes up a friendship with Frank the charming, but strange and unreliable young man they can hear practising his cello in the upstairs flat – a relationship which quickly becomes very disturbing.

Marty Feldman: Six Degrees of Separation

A documentary about the legendary and influential comedian, actor and writer, who went out from the BBC to conquer Hollywood, but sadly the system quickly withdrew its support when they couldn't contain his talents. This portrait is spiked with many comments from people who knew Feldman privately or had dealt with him professionally. His early death sadly rendered him all but forgotten by the public. The compilation consists of interviews, some film clips and photos as well as various audio clips from him.

Favela on Blast

For 20 years, a subculture has emerged in Brazil under society's radar. It is the culture surrounding 'funk carioca', a musical rhythm which mixes the American electronic funk of the 1980s with the most diverse influences of Brazilian music. 'Baile funk' is one of the most interesting musical movements in the world, but it comes from what is at times one of the most violent and poorest places in the world: the slums of Rio de Janeiro (favelas). This music is the personalization of the raw element. Bombastic rhythms coming from the American Miami Bass and samples are fused with powerful rap vocals using Brazilian slang. This documentary tells stories of sex, love, poverty, and pride among Rio's marginalized people. They have their own language, style, and heroes. It's a film that's fast, heavy, and violent like the city itself.

Born from this land, Julia, Maria Luiza, Maria Luzia and Sara have their lives and bodies marked by Quilombo dos Luízes, located in the Grajaú neighborhood, in Belo Horizonte. They are women who narrate their memories and dreams, in resistance to the official history.

Broken Promises: Taking Emily Back

Ever since Pam Cheney (Cheryl Ladd) lost her baby during labor, she has been struggling with depression. She is not only supported by her loving, but hard working husband Sean (Robert Desiderio), but also by her friends Ella (Polly Draper) and Terry Sabin (D. David Morin), who have also lost a baby at age three. One year after labor, Pam decides to finally take a proposal to adopt a toddler. Going through official agencies proves unsuccessful, partly due to Pam's age, partly due to the growing demand of adoption. She is advised to take care of an orphaned teenager instead, but Sean refuses this option.

White Man Walking

In July 2020, Rob Bliss, a young, white filmmaker, posted a video of what happened when he held up a ‘Black Lives Matter’ sign in Harrison, Arkansas, 'the most racist town in America'. It went viral, attracting 12 million views. What Bliss did next was remarkable. Over 1500 miles, two months and 25 miles a day, he set out to walk through the American South, wearing a Black Lives Matter t-shirt, and a sign that invited people to ‘come walk with me’. His goal was simple: to take the conversation Floyd’s murder had sparked about racism in American society into the places where it was most needed, yet most silent.

A girl is saved by a miracle after she falls from a cliff in the Argentine Andes, and is blessed with healing powers.
