Syria, 2015. Russian girl Alina lives in Damascus and, together with her husband, Syrian Kamil, is raising a son, Rustum, and a daughter, Tanya. The echo of the war has reached the capital - terrorist attacks are constantly taking place in Damascus, people are being kidnapped for ransom. One day, Kamil and Rustum disappear without a trace.
