The Assassins

The events take place in a historical context, in the 11th century, where the leader of the Assassins, Hassan al-Sabah, and his leadership of the band that was famous for carrying out bloody assassinations of prominent figures at that stage.

Hammaam in Amsterdam

Hammaam lives with his big family in a crowded Egyptian alley. As he is jobless, he loses his girl to a rich suitor. He then decides to leave for Amsterdam where his uncle has immigrated long ago. As soon as he arrives he loses his money and passport and gets assaulted in an inn. Adriano the young Egyptian emigrant saves his neck and helps him find his uncle who dumps him. Hence, Hammaam stays with a group of young Arabs. After his tiring journey between failure and success he falls in love with a young lady who helps him fulfill his dream of buying a certain famous restaurant. As his business flourishes, he returns home to visit his family proud of his success.

The People of the Cave

Hide and Seek

Aly Hassan, a five-year old child, gets arrested while playing a hide-and-seek game called Khalawees with his neighbors. His father, Hassan (played by Ahmed Eid), who is a taxi driver in Cairo hurries to join his son who is about to be imprisoned in a name mix-up with another wanted escaped criminal. Hassan faces humorous situations in prison due to the presence of his son, Aly, and is torn between his female attorney trying to prove Aly's innocence and a talk-show media presenter convincing the public that Aly is the wanted criminal.

Badr, ‘Essaam, and Gameela face such challenges as vicious lion attacks, greedy bankers, treacherous relatives, with the help of Shaaker the father's lawyer and Adam, the loyal family employee.
