The Case of Hana & Alice
After transferring to Ishinomori Middle School, Tetsuko "Alice" Arisugawa overhears her classmates discussing a strange rumor. The previous occupant of her seat, a nondescript "Judas," is missing and presumed murdered. Amidst dealing with her mother's undesired meddling in her affairs and warding off her classmates' bullying, the troubled Alice starts to investigate the mystery surrounding Judas' disappearance. The trail of clues leads her to the house of her next-door neighbor, the quirky and reclusive Hana Arai.

A lawyer tasked with defending a robbery-and-murder suspect begins developing doubts about what truly happened.

Matsuri
A junior high school teacher named Sachie has been living alone. She is not respected by her students and also has trouble fitting into her workspace. One of her students, Hagiwara, has been winning one writing contest after another due to his eloquence. But, he starts to lose sight of himself after a transfer student from the city joins his class. Sachie, on the other hand has started attending a Japanese Taiko (drum) class offered at a nearby community center to get away from her empty life. Their frustrations collide at the school's festival.

Chichiri
An omnibus film based on a single script by five individualistic directors (Hosono Tatsuoki, Igarashi Takumi, Sato Toshiki, Imaoka Shinji, and Kubota Shoji), featuring actors who participated in the acting workshop "Workshop@FAITH," and spinning five different short stories. Yoshiko, an aspiring novelist, has been submitting her works to various literary awards, but has been struggling to get any traction. Then one day, Yoshiko's boyfriend proposes to her and they decide to get married.
