Biography
Aksel Orav (February 19, 1929 Alasoo – October 28, 2003) was an Estonian actor. Aksel Orav graduated from Tartu 1st Middle School in 1947 and then studied agronomy at Tartu State University in 1947–1950. In 1953, he graduated from the Estonian studio of GITIS in Moscow as an actor. From 1953, he worked at the Drama Theater both as an actor and as a director. Orav translated books from Russian that were published in 1979-1991.
