Alejo Felipe Vargas (Santa Cruz de La Palma, Canary Islands, July 17, 1943 - Venezuela, June 3, 2015) was a Spanish actor who developed a notable career in the performing arts, as well as in television and film. He also ventured into voice acting in Venezuela, contributing to anime, animated series, films, and, above all, advertising and narration.

In 1856, a whaler arrives in Paita, Peru; on board is Herman Melville, who is astonished to learn that Manuela Sáenz, for eight years the lover of Simón Bolívar, is still alive.
