The director of the Warsaw operetta has problems with putting together a team. He cares very much about acquiring the star of the stage - Jadwiga Janowska. However, she is currently in Paris with her husband, diplomat Henryk de Fontana. It turns out that Ambassador Rossi falls in love with her. Jadwiga goes to Warsaw, where in her apartment her friend Apolonia trains a young adept Wanda to play on stage.

Ada, Don't Do That!
Ada Dziewanowska, a spirited landowner’s daughter, is sent to a Kraków boarding school to be “tamed,” where she secretly appears in an operetta and unexpectedly falls in love with Fred Orzelski, ironically the very suitor her parents had long planned for her.

Jadzia
Both have the name Jadzia, besides the name they are also connected by a tennis racket. Jędruszewska is a champion of tennis courts, Maliczówna is an extremely charismatic owner of a sports store. Meanwhile, there is a fierce battle between two competing Warsaw companies selling sports equipment. The convergence of names and misunderstandings cause that the representative of the rival sports shop Jan Oksza confuses Jada. He tries to get the tennis champion to play their company's racket, but Jan takes Maliczówna for the champion. In the meantime, he acts as a sculptor, his friend. Among the gags and numerous misunderstandings between Jadzia Maliczówna and Jan Oksza germinate the feeling that eventually connects the two feuding companies.

Three Hearts
Two children are born in a rich family's manor house - one of them, Gogo, is a son of a countess and the second one, Maciek, a son of the servant. The servant decides to switch the babies so her son can have a better life. They both grow up and fall for the same woman, a girl named Kasia raised by the countess.

Królowa Przedmieścia
Mania is the illegitimate child of a girl from the suburbs of Krakow and a lawyer. Bowing to the will of the family, he abandons the girl, leaving a large monetary "compensation". The girl dies, but before she dies she leaves a certain Mr. Majcherek a letter and a document, proving that Mania will be able to receive the money when she comes of age. The dishonest Majcherek (knowing the contents of the letter) must therefore wait 20 years to be able to apply for Mania's hand and thus come into possession of her property. Unaware of anything, Mania lives in the suburbs with Maciejowa (who took her in as a child) thinking that she is her daughter. When Majcherek begins to adore Mania it turns out that she already has two rivals - boys from the neighborhood. That's when the fourth one appears - handsome Zygmunt. Mania loses her head for Zygmunt. What she doesn't know is that he is in fact her real father's upbringing....

Panienka z poste restante
Marysia, a postal clerk, travels to Vienna to work as Mr. Olszewicz's secretary as a result of a distorted telegram. Their first joint venture is to sign a contract with American industrialist Smith, pretending to be a young married couple. He takes them to his yacht in Dubrovnik, where he refuses to sign the contract, having guessed the deception and feeling cheated.

Happy Days
Two friends, Szczepko and Tonko, are made unemployed in a toy factory where there was a ban on singing and they broke the rule. In a park they find a abandoned baby, and they take it into their care. Meanwhile, Wanda, owner of a toy shop, comes to Lwów with her uncle. He wants his niece to work for the director of this factory. By coincidence, the child is given to Wanda. Szczepko and Tonko look for him desperately. But the uncle is more and more happy about having the child. After numerous hurdles, the child remains at the uncle's, Wanda and Julian are in heaven, and Szczepko and Tonko, reconciled with fate, leave....

Love Manoeuvres
Lieutenant Niko’s family insists he marry a chosen fiancée, but he falls for a beautiful baroness and travels to meet “his betrothed” disguised as his orderly, who impersonates him, only to discover that the baroness is in fact the intended bride. Meanwhile, the baroness and her maid swap identities in turn, leading to a cascade of mistaken identities and a lighthearted resolution when true matches are revealed.
