Mishka Yaponchik was a Ukrainian gangster, Jewish, lived in Odessa at the beginning of the XX century, the military leader of two thousand of gangsters and the prototype of Benia Krik in The "Odessa Tales" by Soviet Jewish writer Isaak Babel. Born Moisei Vinnitsky, Yaponchik ("the Japanese") was an exceptional and eccentric character. Hailed as the next Robin Hood, he established his own code of conduct forbidding the robbing of the poor and professional classes.
Berlin Heat
In the summer of 1943, the Soviet leadership became aware of the achievements of German physicists in creating the atomic bomb. The task of obtaining secret information about the creation of a new type of weapon that can change the course of the war is given to a Soviet agent acting undercover, Frans Hartmann. To understand the reasons and deep motives of Renata's act, the investigator will have to piece together the history of the complex relationship between mother and son and answer the main question: did Renata kill her son or save his life?
