The year is 1994. Volodya Yakovlev, a graduate of the Higher school of Militia, is assigned to Rublevka. Together they investigate important, but rather dubious cases — they are looking for a gang of pirates filming the second parts of cult action films, then they find out who stole the suitcase with the "MMM" tickets. Yakovlev's brother helps them in this, who knew as a teenager that he would have to work in the security service, and not in some kind of militia.
