Biography
Abandonó los estudios de Medicina para ingresar a los 18 años en la compañía teatral de Ernesto Vilches. Tras finalizar la Guerra Civil Española, donde llegó a ser teniente de Aviación. Inicia su carrera profesional siendo uno de los galanes favoritos de los directores del régimen franquista. Alcanzó una gran fama en la posguerra por encarnar el prototipo de galán militar y heroico y del franquismo. Debutó en 1935, pero su consagración llegó en 1941 con Raza, de José Luis Sáenz de Heredia. Tras ésta llegó A mí la legión (1942), de Juan de Orduña, con el que protagonizó también La leona de Castilla (1951), junto a Amparo Rivelles. Otras de sus películas son la extraordinaria La caza (1965), de Carlos Saura, Peppermint Frappé (1967), también de Saura, o Los desafíos (1969), dirigida por Víctor Erice. Participó en más de 250 películas.

El taxi de los conflictos
Taxi driver Tadeo is about to encounter a busy shift. Throughout the day heterogeneous characters get into his taxi and the most varied situations arise. One of them leaves a baby in the taxi and Tadeo must find out where the little one belongs. He tackles this daunting task while keeping in the back of his mind that at the end of the day he has an appointment with a mysterious woman who apparently needs to tell him something very important.

El secreto de Tomy
The racing stables of Gandia family go to auction. Tomy, son of the owner, manages to save his favorite horse, "Cantador". Now, his only obsession is to resolve the problems of his father, providing him a new wife and riding his horse at the races. After a while, in the Official Prize, "Cantador", ridden by Tomy wins. This fact causes everyone to be interested in the horse and eventually Tomy will be forced to auction it to liquidate their debts. But the new owner is the father of Luchy, Tomy's classmate , and he will do everything possible to recover it.

Don Lucio and Brother Pío
Brother Pío, intending to collect charity for a group of nuns who run an orphanage, travels to Madrid with a statue of the Baby Jesus. On the train ride there, he meets Lucio, a slick-talking small-time thief, who steals the statue from him in order to collect the donations for himself.
