At the Threshold of an Era
Spanning 20 years, from 1990 to 2010, the series tells of three entrepreneurs who founded a company together to achieve the ultimate goal of developing a pollution-free town in Hong Kong. Through the years, they face many struggles, but most particularly, the family vendetta between two of the company founders.

Final Justice
Father Lee (Sean Lau) is young and unconventional. He fell into temptation and was sued by Donna (Almen Wong), who accuses him of rape. Lee faces a lawsuit and abandonment by his church and his followers. Gangster Mr. Gum (Eric Tsang) is willing to help and has hired Ku (Carman Lee) as his defending lawyer. Mr. Gum believes in silence by violence, while Ku would rather try false witnesses. But Lee refuses to attack Donna in court for fear of hurting her again. In the end, Lee proved to Mr. Gum and Ku that conscience does in fact exist in this corrupt world ruled by power and material desire.

Fourteen Days Before Suicide
A new accountant starts a job eager to prove herself but soon realizes her superiors are acting weirdly and doubts if they are actually alive; A woman finds out her boyfriend is cheating with her best friend, leading her to despair and suicide, only to discover his evil plan after her death; An elevator repairman neglects his wife because of his work. Influenced by a ghostly woman, the wife begins to think about using suicide to get her husband to care for her.
