The name Karima Ali, born in Kafr El-Sheikh, started her artistic life as an actress for the secondary roles, then she traveled to Belgium, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Italy and she practiced oriental dance in some of the films that were produced there. She returned to the cinema in the 1990s in small roles. Then she retired and veiled> and appeared at the wedding of Mervat Amin's daughter, who was veiled
