Biography
A veteran of Indian theatre and cinema, Anashua Majumdar has essayed several memorable roles in the course of a career spanning around three decades. Some of her best known film credits include the social drama Mahaprithibi (1991), City of Joy (1992), Tahader Katha (1993) and Bhalo Theko (2003). Besides her work in films, Majumdar has also appeared in popular Bengali television serials like Bou Kotha Kao (2009-12), Sokhi (2013-14) and Ei Chheleta Bhelbheleta (2016-17). More recently, the actress was seen in the drama films Maati (2018), Gotro (2019) and Dilkhush (2022).

Forever Yours
The film is set in Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose's home in Falta, West Bengal, masquerading as Uttarpara. It deals with the story of a girl Anandi and her family (including uncle, brother, parents and sister), lover (brother's friend Babua) and few neighbours. Nature, tradition and love are Anandi's pillars of support in difficult times. Her brother will slowly drift away with bad or risky companies, will not return home one day, and will be lost forever. Her parents will die heartbroken and her sister will get married suddenly and will leave the family. Babua will go abroad and marry somebody else.

Chitrangada

Their Story
Shibnath is released from prison after serving eleven years for assaulting a British officer. His family has now become refugees, with his homeland, following Partition, belonging to a new nation. His wife urges him to make ally with his friend Bipin who is willing to capitalize on Shibnath's legendary reputation for patriotism, by asking to accompany him in electoral campaigns. In exchange, Bipin is ready to arrange Shibnath the job of a school master. However, Shibnath remains disillusioned and mystified by the life that now lies before him away from his beloved—and irretrievably lost—homeland.
