Andrew Astor was born in Arizona. The Astor family bloodline dates back to 1623 on his father's side and while the Astor family are most notably relatives of the English & German John Jacob Astor family, that bloodline also includes decedents from Northern Italy and Spain. Andrew's mother is Sicilian and grew up in the Bronx surrounded by members of "the family".
