Biography
Andrey Smolyakov was born in Podolsk, Moscow Oblast, in 1958. He studied for three years at the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute before graduating in 1980 from the State Institute of Theatre Arts and beginning his acting career on the stage of the Moscow Art Theatre. Between 1984 and 1986, he worked with the Satyricon Theatre, and in 1987 joined the Oleg Tabakov Studio Theatre in Moscow. Smolyakov made his big screen debut in 1978, and has since appeared in more than 80 films, working with many of Russia’s leading directors. Notable credits include “Daddy” (Vladimir Mashkov, 2004), “Escape” (Egor Konchalovsky, 2005), “Stalingrad” (Fedor Bondarchuk, 2013), and “Viking” (Andrey Kravchuk, 2016).

March 1944. At the front, the Red Army is conducting a confident offensive. The Allies are about to open a second front, and it seems that the final defeat of Nazi Germany is very close. However, the joy of the coming victory is overshadowed by a series of daring and brutal murders. No one has ever managed to see the bandits up close. According to the scant testimony of random eyewitnesses, the composition of the attackers is constantly changing. And every time they leave portraits of the dead at the crime scene. For these drawings and cruelty, the gang was nicknamed "Death's Head", and its leader was called an Artist.
Patrol
A difficult night for everyone at the mobile police group — Ermakova and Mosin. First their car was struck by three bandits, one of whom died, and two escaped. Soon the body of the second criminal inexplicably appeared in a Luggage carrier of patrolmen, and with it the bag filled with money. Around prowling suspicious people, and certainly the third thug among them. But who killed the other? Entangled in the dark streets and mutual suspicion, the characters find themselves in a ring of enemies, where they are waiting for an unexpected bloody denouement…

1982. After the task force breaks up, Major Viktor Kovalev wants to take over as boss. Around the same time, pop singer Andrei Grinyaikin dies during a concert. Someone tries to cover up the case, and Sonya Timofeeva begins her own investigation. Kovalev also picks up the trail of Mosconcert, which appears to have influential patrons behind it.

1980 year. Pre-Olympic Moscow. The MUR people were tasked with preventing a single crime in the capital, clearing the city of all unreliable elements. Even the slaughter department is involved in the execution. Cherkasov and his team are entrusted with the fight against prostitution and "bad luck." But, instead, Ivan Petrovich is forced to investigate one murder after another. In the center of events is a bandit named Skull who recently left the prison. Almost all of the murders committed take place under the Skull, but there is no direct evidence of his involvement in the crimes. It is impossible to prove his guilt, but at the same time his innocence is under great doubt: as if someone invisible constantly saves the Skull from death, clearing the way for him. But who might be interested in this?

Based on another famous story - the robbery of the State Bank of the Armenian SSR in 1977, when the Kalachyan brothers swept the treasury for one and a half million rubles (two million dollars at the then exchange rate). It was the largest kidnapping in the Soviet Union. 1967 year. Moscow. A fashion model from the House of Fashion was killed. A group of Major Cherkasov arrives at the crime scene. He urgently introduces his man, Sonya Timofeeva, into the Fashion House, whose main task is to obtain information about the relationship between the employees of the Fashion House. Soon, another fashion model dies. And simultaneously with this murder, a very daring crime is taking place - the robbery of Goznak ...
