Antonio Gasalla (born March 9, 1941) is an Argentine actor, comedian, and theatre director. Antonio Gasalla was born in Ramos Mejía, a western suburb of Buenos Aires, in 1941. He enrolled at the National Dramatic Arts Conservatory, and began his work in Buenos Aires' vibrant theatre scene in 1964.

Bailando por un Sueño 1 was the first argentinian season of Bailando por un Sueño. The season, first aired on April 17, 2006, and was part of the original show, Showmtach broadcast on Canal 13, and hosted by Marcelo Tinelli. 8 couples competed during 7 weeks, and the winner was revealed on the season finale, on June 1, 2006. The winner of this first season was the actress, producer and comedian Carmen Barbieri, who was paired with the professional dancer, Christian Ponce. The judges, were the famous journalist Jorge Lafauci, professional dancer Laura Fidalgo, vedette Zulma Faiad, and producer, actress and singer Reina Reech

Following his mother`s death, wise son Sebastian attempts to organise dad Nestor to cope with basic household chores. Sebastian shows Nestor how to light the oven. Later Nestor can't fix a broken lamp, but his son soon sorts it out. Nestor wants to act and invent money raising schemes whereas Sebastian yearns for a dad with a steady job. Nestor gets a role in an ad and pursues acting work. He seeks backing to market ping pong balls with world cup logos though the event has passed. The essence of the story revolves around how these conflicting aspirations can be reconciled.
