Biography
Argyris Bakirtzis was born in 1947 in Thessaloniki. He is an architect at the Archaeological Service of Kavala, but everyone knows him as the singer of the Winter Swimmers, the longest-running Greek band. He is a self-taught musician and writes lyrics and music. He was a favorite actor of Stavros Tsiolis and had starred in many of his films, such as "Love in dates" (1990) "Please women don't cry" (1992) "Let the women wait" (1998) and "We have arrived..." ( 2004).

Love Under the Date-Tree
Panagiotis and Giannis are two good friends but also rivals in love. Both make an inimitable comic couple, wandering in the Peloponnese, looking for a date tree that will prove the innocence or guilt of the wife of one of them and possibly lover of the other. Spying a lissome young woman standing topless on a nearby balcony, Giorgos (Andreas Barcoulis) climbs up onto a nearby rooftop to get a better look. At a critical moment in his climb, his family and friends call out to him and he falls, suffering a terrible blow to the head. Ineed, at the hospital, the family is told that he is brain dead, and that if they like, his heart can be given to someone else as a transplant. Giorgos' grieving wife (Betty Livanou) agrees to this arrangement. The film now follows the recipient of the dead man's heart (Giorgos Constas), as he wanders all over Greece, driven by his newly lusty heart into the arms of many beautiful women. Eventually he is led to the one woman his new heart truly loved, Giorgios' wife.
