Lahirnja Gatotkatja

Pracuna rules the Kingdom of Pringgodani, and is so powerful that he demands a goddess from nirvana named Dewi Supraba to be his wife. The gods have no choice but to agree to his request. Supraba then comes down to Pringgodani to trick Pracuna. When Pracuna realizes this, he is furious and threatens to invade nirvana. The gods need to find a new champion and they nominate Gatotkaca, the son of Bima (of the Pandawa clan), whose mother is Arimbi, Pracuna’s daughter.

Attack at Dawn

After the Japanese occupation, the Indonesian people began fighting for independence, culminating with the 1 March 1949 general attack on the Dutch-held capital at Yogyakarta, led by Suharto. Amidst this backdrop two families face their own, personal issues.

Kugapai Cintamu

Tells the story of two women with different characters who love the same man. Widuri, does not dare to express her love while Irawati is more aggressive. One time Widuri was raped by Irawati's men until she was pregnant. Then she moved to the village. While Toby was threatened to marry Irawati because Irawati was pregnant due to her promiscuity and because she lent Irawati's father's company money to her friend but could not return it. Toby avoided it by following Widuri to the village and intended to marry her, but Widuri refused. Toby finally had an accident and Irawati died while giving birth.

Jaka Tarub dan Tujuh Bidadari

A famous legend in Central and East Java. Jaka Tarub (Sentot S.) lives in misery with his widowed mother, because of the scorn of the surrounding community because Jaka does not know who his father is, besides the chronic skin disease he suffers from. Jaka has a habit of hunting in the forest. A miracle happened. He met Nawang Wulan (Susanna Caecilia), a beautiful angel. Marriage took place and their daughter was born named Nawang Asih. Because they came from two different worlds, Jaka had to accept the fate of being left by his wife who returned to heaven.
