Zhang Guang Zheng is a nerdy couch potato who just takes what life gives him and doesn't aspire for more. However, he decides that it's time for a change after falling for flight attendant Zhang You En. Joining Zheng You En's mother Liu Meili's group of dancing grannies at the public square becomes an eye opening experience for him. The ladies' courage and passion for life inspires him to do the same. At this time, his seemingly strict hotel manager has initiated a program on employee development. With the encouragement of friends, Zhang Guang Zheng works hard to pass the assessment in order to obtain opportunities for further studies. He forges ahead, constantly narrowing the distance between Zheng You En and him. In turn, he also makes an impact in the lives of the people around him such as the Zhang You En who used to keep to herself, Wang Niulang who's afraid to fall for someone and Chen Jing Dian who gave up on his postgraduate entrance examination for fear of failing.

Our Days

The three daughters of Xiang Zhijun live in Shanghai, Kunshan, and Suzhou. Xiang Qian, 35, is established in her career; Xiang Zhong, 31, is actively pursuing her goals; and Xiang Nan, 26, is cheerful and optimistic. Despite facing personal challenges, the sisters support each other and grow through their experiences, guided by their parents' advice.

The show documents the simplistic lifestyle of living away from the bustling city centers. Each season takes place in a different rural part of China. The cast members are only provided with the basic life necessities and have to take care of everything else such as cooking their own meals and building their own furniture. To "buy" different cooking ingredients and other tools, they have to complete certain tasks assigned by the production crew, such as planting and harvesting crops. Different guests join the cast in each episode and help out with the daily chores. The goal of the program is to bring the audience along on a slower pace of life and to illustrate the joys of a simple lifestyle.

First Time

Sonq Shiqiao (Angelababy), 22, lives with her devoted mother, widowed shop owner Zheng Qing (Jiang Shan). Shiqiao, who always dreamed of being a ballet dancer, cannot exert herself physically as she suffers from form of myasthenia, a neuromuscular disease, that her father died of; the medication she takes also causes memory lapses. One day, at a charity fair, she bumps into Gong Ning (Mark Chao), a former high-school friend she always liked, and the two end up dating, despite the initial disapproval of her mother. Gong Ning dropped out of university to spend more time with a rock band he leads; also, his girlfriend, dancer Peng Wei (Cindy Yen), has dumped him because of his inability to focus his life. However, for Shiqiao, Gong Ning is the perfect partner.

Chu Mu's mother Wen Nan is getting married for the third time, which will give Chu Mu a total of 3 step-siblings. There's Qi Qi, his rambunctious step-sister from his mother's second marriage, who announces that she wants Chu Mu to be her boyfriend. Wen Nan's third marriage is to a super wealthy widower named Xue Mao Xiang who has 2 children from his previous marriages - the spoiled and aloof Xue Yang, and daughter Xue Zhi Li, who returns from abroad to be the mediator of this new unconventional family.

Nan Qiao has an ugly breakup with cheating fiance Zhou Ran, who then withdraws all his capital from her drone designing business and prevents other potential investors from funding the company. Shi Yue decides to invest in Nan Qiao’s company after discovering that she may be the reason why he went from aspiring soldier to gigolo and nightclub owner. However Shi Yue’s revenge plans fall by the wayside when he develops romantic feelings for Nan Qiao.
