Rekhitha aka Bhama made her debut in 2007 through Nivedyam directed by Lohithada. Matrimonial programme on television titled Thaali was one of her debuts in media industry. Lohithadas spotted her in the programme and cast her in Nivedyam (2007). She has been considered the most beautiful and talented actress of Malayalam film industry. She is a malayalee, residing at Mannarkadu in Kottayam, Kerala. She completed higher secondary education from St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Mannarkkadu. She has two sisters.

Ellam Avan Seyal
A lawyer, who defends criminals, wages vigilante justice against them in private. The movie deals with the murder of a girl who was ragged and brutally murdered by her classmates. The lawyer, through his own investigation arrives at the fact that she was brutally raped by college authorities and framed the students as culprits.

Konthayum Poonoolum
The movie deals with the trials and tribulations of multiple disconnected characters trying to find meaning in the spiritual and super natural experiences they have. The intertwining story threads include a baker (Kunchako) going to meet his pregnant wife (Bhama), a moneylender (Manoj K Jayan) with an imaginary friend (Saiju Kurup), an atheist policeman (Kalabhavan Mani) who is unfaithful to his wife, an old man (Janardhanan) whose daughter (Anju Aravind) gets into a road accident, a photographer (Joy Mathew) and a college girl (Sarayu) trying to prank her room mates.

The film is an anthology with adaptations of stories written by renowned Malayalam fiction writers Basheer, M. T. Vasudevan Nair and Madhavikutty (Kamala Surayya).. The stories have been tweaked to fit in a modern setting and the script has been conceived by the director himself.
