Grindhouse
Grindhouse combines Robert Rodriguez's Planet Terror, a horror comedy about a group of survivors who battle zombie-like creatures, and Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof, an action thriller about a murderous stuntman who kills young women with modified vehicles. It is presented as a double feature with fictitious exploitation trailers preceding each segment.
Desperado
El Mariachi plunges headfirst into the dark border underworld when he follows a trail of blood to the last of the infamous Mexican drug lords, Bucho, for an action-packed, bullet-riddled showdown. With the help of his friend and a beautiful bookstore owner, El Mariachi tracks Bucho, takes on his army of desperados, and leaves his own trail of blood.
The Violin
In an unnamed Latin American country that closely resembles Mexico, the government fights a rural insurgency with torture, assault, rape, and murder. Soldiers descend on a town, cutting off the rebels from their cache of ammunition hidden in a field. A family of grandfather, son, and grandson are among the rebels in the hills. The grandfather, with his violin over his shoulder, tries to pass the checkpoint, ostensibly to tend his corn crop. The commanding officer lets him pass but insists on a daily music lesson.
El Mariachi
El Mariachi just wants to play his guitar and carry on the family tradition. Unfortunately, the town he tries to find work in has another visitor, a killer who carries his guns in a guitar case. The drug lord and his henchmen mistake el Mariachi for the killer, Azul, and chase him around town trying to kill him and get his guitar case.

The story tells the story of Diana (Maria Sortè), a highly successful fashion designer married to an unreliable and lying man, Giacomo, and of Gianluca (Enrique Novi), a widower with a 10-year-old girl, Arianna. Diana, after discovering that Giacomo has another wife and two children, Davide and Chicco, abandons him, and leaves for a cruise with her friend Gloria. On the ship he meets Gianluca in the company of Viviana, who is actually staying with him for money. The meeting between Gianluca and Diana is one of those that are not forgotten and, what seemed only physical attraction, turns into true love. Diana is introduced by Gianluca to her daughter and immediately wins her sympathy.
