Professional tennis player Caroline Wozniacki was born on July 11, 1990, in Odense, Denmark. Named the WTA Newcomer of the Year in 2008, she advanced to her first major final at the 2009 U.S. Open. In 2010, she became the first Danish player to ascend to the top spot in the world rankings, and the fourth-youngest woman to finish the year ranked No. 1. Wozniacki lives in Monte Carlo, Monaco.
