Jealousy

A 1992 TV drama series sparked romance, and also jealousy across Korea. Aired on MBC from June to July of 1992, the 16-episode TV drama “Jealousy (질투)” depicted the pure love, infused with a subtle sense of jealousy, of a young couple. The series answered the much asked question: “Is it possible for a man and woman who are 'just friend' to fall in love?" The show was based on the 1991 novel, “Long Shadow of My Love” by Yoon Myung-hye.

It aired on KBS2 from September 7, 1996 to April 20, 1997 on Saturdays and Sundays at 19:55 for 66 episodes. It is currently the number one highest-rated Korean drama of all time based on single episode viewership ratings, reaching 65.8% on its April 10, 1997 episode. Its average rating for its entire run was 52.6%.

Family Outing

Family Outing Season 1 was a South Korean variety show; a part of SBS's Good Sunday lineup, along with Gold Miss is Coming. It was first aired on June 15, 2008, and was one of the top rated programs on Sunday Korean television. In each episode, the "Family" travels to different parts of South Korea and takes care of the house of an elderly family while that family goes on a vacation. The "Family" then accomplishes the tasks left for them by the house's owners. The first season ended on February 14, 2010, and a second season featuring a brand new cast, production team, and concept, aired until July 11, 2010.
