Jeg er sgu min egen

Being yourself – and above all your own master – that is what the film is about. After a short stay at a girls' home, Annie returns to society and has to adapt once again. It isn't long before Annie gets involved in a deadly fight and is even taken to the police station and brought before the court. Fortunately, one of the jurors takes an interest in her and offers to take care of her and give her a home. However, Annie cannot stand this home and runs away.

Juliane

Christianshavn 1894 - Headstrong Juliane fights alongside her husband Otto for love and family in strike-ridden Christianshavn. The couple has been married for five years and has two children together. Trade union politics are taking up more and more of Otto's life, and Juliane cannot even get him to tone it down at family gatherings, so Juliane has her hands full keeping track of the home and the children. The family argues about big and small things, from the sisters' disagreement about women's liberation to Otto's political involvement.

Matador

Matador is a Danish TV series produced and shown between 1978 and 1982. It is set in the fictional Danish town of Korsbæk between 1929 and 1947. It follows the lives of a range of characters from across the social spectrum, focusing specifically on the rivalry between the families of two businessmen: The banker Hans Christian Varnæs, an established local worthy, and social climber Mads Skjern, who arrives in town as the series opens. The name Matador was taken from the localised edition of the boardgame Monopoly, also the series' tentative English title. In addition, in contemporary Danish a "matador" is often used to describe a business tycoon, in the series referring to the character of Mads Skjern and his craftiness as a self-made entrepreneur. Directed by famed Danish film maker Erik Balling, Matador was the idea of author Lise Nørgaard who wrote the bulk of the episodes alongside Karen Smith, Jens Louis Petersen and Paul Hammerich. The series is one of the most well-known and popular examples of Danish television and represents the peak of longtime development of Danish TV drama by the public service channel Danmarks Radio. The series has become part of the modern self-understanding of Danes, partly because of its successful mix of melodrama and a distinct warm Danish humour in the depiction of characters, which were portrayed by a wide range of the most popular Danish actors at the time; but also not least because of its accurate portrayal of a turbulent Denmark from around the start of the Great Depression and through Nazi Germany's occupation of Denmark in World War II.

Sia

The film follows 93-year-old Sia, over the course of a day - from the time the sun rises in the east until it sets in the west. But this is no ordinary day. It is her last. When Sia in the end closes her eyes it will be for the very last time. After two strange encounters with her pet parrot and cat she herself realises that this exact day will be her last. And it is with this realisation in mind that she has her two best friends over for tea in order to ask them to aid her with her final preparations. But not all goes according to plan.

Præsten i Vejlby

In the early 17th century, the tyrannical parish priest in Vejlby, Søren Jensen Quist, tries to force his daughter Maren into a lucrative marriage with the wealthy farmer Mikkel Ibsen. However, Maren prefers the bailiff. When Mikkel feels that both the bailiff and the priest are encroaching on his power, he arranges for the priest to be convicted and executed for the murder of Mikkel's brother, Nils Ibsen.

The Olsen Gang Jumps the Fence

As usual, Egon has an ingenious plan. And, as usual, it works just fine until one of the gang members makes some kind of funny error. This time, however, even Egon's life is in danger, for some international criminals try to get rid of him by throwing him into a container filled with acid.

Back at the club apartment, Trine decides to transform the romantic dinner into a kitchen party for her friends.

Love Is All You Need

Ida, a Danish hairdresser who has lost her hair to cancer, returns home from the hospital one day to find her husband is cheating on her. She decides to travel to Italy on her own for her daughter's wedding, but discovers on arriving that the wedding gathering will present its own challenges.
