Gece Gündüz was a police procedural soap produced by the Altıoklar Productions, the main characters are Aslan Aydemir and Kemal. They both work at the Istanbul Organized Crime section of the police force. The series finished on its 33rd episode. The theme song is an edited version of "Gündüz Gece" by Âşık Veysel Şatıroğlu who is also named "Uzun Ince bir Yoldayım" which was a famous Turkish folk music and Veysel was the famous one for this song.

The film tells the story of two old friends, Ahmet and Kemal, who work together to solve a murder. Ahmet, nicknamed "Baba," makes a living as an accountant. During a strike that breaks out at the factory, Ali is killed. Ahmet seeks help from Kemal, a businessman and his army buddy, to find his son's killer. Throughout this process, both Kemal and Ahmet begin to question their own lives.

She defies her mother and marries Cem, a fortune hunter. Reyhan will sacrifice her life to save her daughter from Cem.
