Bevergem

The inhabitants of Bevergem can at least be called special. One day, stand-up comedian Freddy De Vadder also moves in. Why? Nobody knows. And he keeps quiet himself. The inhabitants of Bevergem are charmed by the presence of the eccentric rock 'n' roll figure, but it soon becomes clear that the villagers themselves are even more eccentric. Each of them confides in outsider Freddy and all kinds of petty bourgeois intrigues surface between noisy alpha males (and females) on the one hand and well-behaved, clumsy underdogs on the other. In the run-up to the annual village festivals, things get rather heated, but Freddy watches all the fuss and remains the unmoved mover at all times.

'Familie' is the longest running Belgian soap opera. The Van den Bossches originally had an electronics company, later a holding company that included a clothing chain and a sandwich shop. Dawa is born into a primitive society of creatures who, unlike her, don't have identities or emotions. After she grows up in apathy, she ventures out to explore the limits of her world where she comes across a mysterious barrier accompanied by a colourful stranger.

Shimi

Keely, a lonely 16 year old teenager and ballerina, that meets Mairi, an eccentric and attractive girl who is her complete opposite. As the pair are drawn closer to one another, Keely's limits of desire and self-control are put to the test.

Hawa & Adam

Adam wakes up from a coma after three years and has to stay in the hospital to recover. He discovers that information is being kept from him and tries to do everything he can to find out the truth. Hawa starts at a new school and makes up one lie after another, getting herself into trouble. Hawa and Adam communicate with each other through a mysterious diary and discover that something serious is going on with all sixteen-year-olds. Can Hawa and Adam solve the problems? And will they ever really meet?
