Dane Reynolds: First Chapter
"First Chapter" is the highly anticipated Dane Reynolds surf film. The 20 year-old from Ventura, widely acknowledged as the most exciting young surfer in the world, has dedicated over a year to film this project. It's rare for a surfer of Dane's caliber to dedicate an extended break from competition for filming, but the final result is well worth it. "First Chapter" features some of most revolutionary surfing ever caught on film as Dane goes to places and spaces on waves and in the air that no one has ever seen. The loose, movie within a movie, structure of the project is also noteworthy as is its soundtrack filled with Dane’s favorite indie rock bands. This film was shot in location in Morocco, Portugal, France, Australia, Hawaii and California.

Dear Suburbia,
Filmed on location in Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia and the Caribbean, Dear Suburbia, is the latest release from Kai Neville and is the follow up to his previous films Modern Collective and Lost Atlas. It is a high-performance, location-based surf film set against exotic landscapes, objects and personalities juxtaposed with the traditions of suburban life. Spontaneity versus routine. The unknown versus the familiar. An interpretation of our lifestyle, culture, riding waves, traveling the world — a pirouette into the absurdity of it all. The result is a graceful, often schizophrenic glimpse at modern life with a surfboard and a passport.

Riding Waves
In this soulful surf documentary, filmmaker Cyrus Sutton shadows five different surfers, capturing the ups and downs of their daily routines -- much like the ebb and flow of the waves they ride with such passion. Whether Sutton's lens is trained on Rob Machado, Joel Tudor, Donovan Frankenreiter, Dane Reynolds or John Peck, there's one theme that unifies them despite their differences when it comes to personal style: They all love what they do.
