Danny McBride is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer known for his sharp, offbeat humor and collaborations with filmmaker Jody Hill. He rose to fame with Eastbound & Down (2009–2013), where he starred as disgraced pitcher Kenny Powers, and went on to co-create and star in acclaimed HBO series like Vice Principals (2016–2017) and The Righteous Gemstones (2019–present). McBride has also appeared in films including Pineapple Express (2008), Tropic Thunder (2008), and This Is the End (2013), solidifying his reputation for bold, irreverent comedy.
