Delia Casanova (born November 4, 1948) is a Mexican film, theater and television actress, winner of a Silver Ariel. He completed his acting studies at the National Institute of Fine Arts (INBA), in Mexico City. She began her artistic career in the theater, to later venture into the cinema and a decade later into television, as an actress in soap operas, in productions made by Televisa.

La Fuerza del Destino is a Mexican telenovela produced by Rosy Ocampo for Televisa. Sandra Echeverria and David Zepeda star as the main protagonists, while Laisha Wilkins, Gabriel Soto, Rosa Maria Bianchi, and Juan Ferrara star as the main antagonists. La Fuerza del Destino won 5 awards in Premios TVyNovelas: Best first actress, best original story or adaptation, best male antagonist, best lead actress, and best telenovela of the year. The theme song is sung by Marc Anthony and Sandra Echeverria. Portions of their performance in the recording studio are periodically shown in the closing credits. Canal de las Estrellas aired La Fuerza del Destino from March 14 to July 31, 2011 Univision had announced that La Fuerza del Destino would air on the network as part of the 2011-2012 programming schedule, and was broadcast from August 2 to December 26, 2011, with La que no podía amar replacing it in both countries. It was awarded"The Best Telenovela of 2012" by Premios TVyNovelas.

Adrián is the son of Claudio and Amparo Martorel, the owners of a perfume factory and the ranch "La Encantada", where Mariana also used to live when she was a little girl under Amparo's protection. However, a terrible event forces Mariana to leave the house and to enter a boarding school, while her brothers and father stay at the ranch. In the convent she meets mother Ángeles and sister Jovita, who along with father Gonzalo, become her spiritual advisors, and she thinks of becoming a nun. Five years later her father dies and she has to take care of her brothers, so she returns back to the ranch where again she meets Adrián, who has just returned back after getting his master degree in Chicago. Both discover that their adolescence love is still alive, but Adrián is now engaged with the ambitious Raquel, who will not stop at anything to separate them.

She breaks up the romance and goes to sor Angelina's nunnery to become a nun. Sonia and Roberto try to separate Gerardo from Cecilia. Then Cecilia finds out the truth about her birth and meets padre Julio. Natalia discovers that Evangelina tries to appropriate the whole patrimony of Cecilia and Evangelina kills her.
