The Counted

The remote area of Karelia in Russia has always been surrounded by myths and legends, but when some fatal cases of Western Nile Fever inexplicably appear there, an epidemiological expedition is sent to take a closer look. Led by ex-lovers Nikolai and Vera who have unfinished business, the expedition becomes fraught with events that can’t be explained through science. The Counted is a one-hour drama series with elements of paranormal and sci-fi genres intertwined in the unique geographical, tribal, and social setting of Karelia, Russia.

Chelyuskin. First

February 1934. The passage of the Northern Sea Route in one navigation was an ambitious goal and was of great importance for the USSR. Many considered this venture to be a hopeless and risky venture. The young and daring polar explorers, led by Otto Schmidt, sincerely believed that they would be able to complete the task on the Chelyuskin steamer. But great ideas turned into a great tragedy — the ship was trapped by ice and sank. Now, in the harsh Arctic conditions, the Chelyuskinites have to fight for their lives every minute.

Little brave boy secretly aim to discover the reason behind his brother death. Harmless and eternal journey begins to turn around when he soon discovers that one of his roommates is actually sucking the blood. Now, the independent hero must team up to find out how the vampires ended up in a Soviet summer camp, how to destroy them, and who actually killed his brother. Upon the way, Valerka learn how to trust, meet friends and sacrifice himself to the one he truly fell in love. The cost of everyone`s freedoms turned him into a vampire. Has he turned into a monster forever?

A simple Russian family lives in a small town in central Russia. They are so unlike each other that they would never communicate if they were not relatives. By tradition, the whole family gathers only on holidays: calendar, professional, folk or family.

Faculty of Philology

This is a story about three friends who find themselves in the maiden kingdom - in the philological faculty. The protagonist, Misha Solomonov, is naive, romantic and responsive, he writes poetry, does not know how to say no, and is hopelessly in love with classmate Lena. His best friends are the gloomy botanist Roma Babin, who is not interested in the opposite sex and whose main hobby is online games, and his complete opposite, unsuccessfully dreaming about sex, wit, Zhenya Morozov, whose ridiculous appearance and peculiar humor do not help him in any way to win over the girls. Misha's rival is Lena's ex-boyfriend from the Faculty of Physical Education Boria, who from all the literature recognizes only Sport-Express.

Metro

Terror strikes the underground train system in Moscow in the form of a flood from a collapsed tunnel. The film follows a diverse group of Moscow citizens who find themselves trapped in the city’s underground rail network, their train derailed and virtually crushed after an aging tunnel collapses. Amongst this band of survivors is softly spoken surgeon Andrey (Sergei Puskepalis), whose wife is having an affair with the conceited businessman Vlad (Anatoly Beliy). Fate brings these two men together on the same doomed train, but there is little time to resolve their differences, as the tunnel begins to quickly fill with water, forcing them to work together with the others and find a way back to the surface.
