The Territory

Victor Gromov, once a legend of Moscow’s criminal underworld known under the nickname “Butcher”, has since retired and now spends his days enjoying life on his farm. One day, Victor’s former “colleagues” show up and tell him that he must store the mafia’s common fund in his offshore bank account. Victor has no choice but to help them. Several months later, on the day when he is supposed to give the money back, Victor gets hit on the head by a falling billboard. As a result, he forgets the password to his bank account. Fleeing for his life from his former cronies, Victor decides to hide in a freight train’s boxcar but ends up getting locked inside. My Life

Since childhood, the main character falls in love with football and dreams of becoming a great footballer to play his most important match. Following his dream, he has to abandon his beloved girl and choose the path of a football player. And now, when there is only one step to the cherished dream, fate disposes of it in another way. The world ceases to exist, because he not only loses the opportunity to realize his dream, but also loses his loved ones. How not to break, follow your dream and return your beloved? Or she will not reconcile with his choice to become a football player?

The No Man Zone

The year is 2140. Society has undergone profound change and is now run as a matriarchy, thus removing its reliance on men. Two Hills is one of the communities founded by this new order. It is a place of perfection, where there is harmony rather than conflict, science and reason prevail and the environment is protected and respected. One of its inhabitants is the history teacher, Rada. On her birthday she takes her students on a guided tour of a special area outside of Two Hills, a place where the so-called “primates” live. The "primates" are men (and a handful of women) who have chosen to live beyond female control. However, the tranquillity of Rada’s perfectly arranged female-centric world comes under threat when she meets the young "primate", Hera. It’s a classic girl-meets-boy story, in a world where the rules have fundamentally changed.

The people's favorite, the country's best football player Fyodor Cherenkov, is not going through the best period in his life. The only thing that keeps him from despair is his dream of playing at the World Cup. But the head coach of the national team removes him from the team at the last moment. Fyodor is seriously thinking about retiring, but for the sake of his family and fans, he returns to lead his club to the championship and become the best again.

This story began back in 1986. Perestroika was already underway, but the Soviet Union had not yet collapsed. It was a time when there was no Internet, hypermarkets and even mobile phones, but they drank water from the tap, there were no traffic jams in Moscow, and the keys to the apartment were quietly left under the rug.
