For You Flora

For You Flora is the story of a brother and sister of Anishinabe descent who spend their youth in a residential school in the 1960s and who, years later, attempt to make peace with their painful past. From the heartbreaking moment when the Oblates take the two children away from their parents to the events that unite them more than five decades later, this six-episode, one-hour drama miniseries depicts different eras in their lives, unfolding together in each episode to tell the story of how a Quebec Aboriginal family splits apart and manages to repair itself.

Audition

Louis is "repo man" who is no stranger to strong-arm tactics in his work, but he has dreamed of becoming an actor since he was a child. February 15, 1839

In 1839, months after the British army has repressed the insurrection of the Patriots, hundreds of rebels are still in prison. Borderline

Borderline, a film version of the novels Borderline and La Brèche, tells the story of Kiki at various stages of her life. With her mother institutionalized, she is raised by her grandmother, where left to her own devices, she takes refuge in school. Her life before 30 is a far cry from fairy-tale. Sex and alcohol are her only outlets and her daily reality. She goes through men one after another.

Bootlegger

Mani, a master’s student, returns to the reserve in northern Quebec where she grew up. Her painful past resurfaces. Resolved to reintegrate into the community, she gets involved in the debate around a referendum on allowing the free sale of alcohol on the reserve. Laura, a bootlegger, pockets the profits she makes there under the protection of the band council and her partner Raymond. The latter is still angry with Mani, whom he holds responsible for the death of his daughter in a fire. Opposing forces quickly divide the community into two sides who face each other to determine the best path to independence.

Les Intrépides

Les Intrépides, is a France-Quebec TV series for children, released between 1993 and 1996, that ran for 52 episodes. The series is about adventures of two kids; Julie Boileau and Tom Miller, whose parents got married and that made them step-siblings. Tom and Julie run their own radio station for kids and help its listeners to resolve their - often criminal - adventures and problems.
