The Zero Years

Four women, who have been sterilized and are under constant toxic restraint and surveillance, are serving their term in a government-run brothel. The relations between them are at a critical point; food and water are scarce, their house is rotting and ready to collapse. Nothing on the outside exists any more. Nightmarish visions, simulated miscarriages, injections and nausea all make up their daily routine. Yet their dream – even though they have been sterilized by the State – is to have a child. One day, one of their customers disappears. The interrogation begins...

The Sentimentalists

An aged, above suspicion, bourgeois man known as ‘The Master’ lives isolated in a luxurious beachfront villa with his teenage daughter. In reality, however, he is involved in an illicit trade in antiquities, acts as a loan shark, and trades antiquities on the black market. The ‘Master’ has two henchmen, Mercury and John, who both commit fatal mistakes. Mercury falls for the daughter of ‘Master’, while John becomes obsessed with a prostitute. Both of them, as ‘sentimentalists’, must be eliminated.

Directing Hell

A Documentary about Nikos Nikolaidis' work. Nikos Nikolaidis was an acclaimed film director and author from Greece. He is famous for creating controversial characters in his films that have a rebellious attitude towards the social and political status quo. He illustrates a dark and pessimistic present and future, but also providing ambiguous hope for the end when his heroes find their escape in death. His films are shocking and contentious, raising questions during times when political visions start to fade away. His filming was poetic, dynamic and aesthetically beautiful in order to present situations on edge and elicit his audience's feelings. The aim of this project is to transfer his dynamics in a documentary that will convey some of his messages and create a platform for exchanging opinions among filmmakers from all over the world, in an effort to decipher his universe and his symbols as reflections of his unique and rare personality.

Evil - In the Time of Heroes

The story begins at the end of the first Kako movie. The survivors meet up with a group of other barricaded survivors and must take care of the zombies as well as other random Greeks that have taken advantage of the chaos, while shooting random moving targets (zombie or not). Throughout we take small flashback visits into ancient Greece where the zombie apocalypse has also happened and we learn how they faced them.

Loafing and Camouflage: Sirens at Land

Seven years after the incident on the Pitta islet, the team leaves the Aegean and goes ashore to help Stavromathiakakis find little Noori, who is about to be deported.

Cool

The film follows the parallel and entwining stories as well as the common fates of some very different young people for 24 hours in the summertime: from the prison to the corridors of the airport and from the Saronikos beaches to the Psiloritis mountain. The common characteristic of the heroes is that they have inherited from their nefarious parents various problems. In spite of the fact that they used to be neutral, due to specials conditions they will be forced to grow up.
