The Feast of the Baked Potato

Drama about Aleksandra Avramovna Derevskaya (1902-1959), who, between the two wars - the Civil and Great Patriotic War, raised 48 orphan children of different nationalities. After her death, each birthday, her large family gathers at the table, to preserve the tradition of serving baked potatoes, which was a favorite dish of the household head.

Approaching the Future

The hero of the film, academician Sergei Vasilyevich Lunin, director of the Kiev Research Institute of Informatics, is working on the implementation of the Unity project in the enterprises of a single department. According to his calculations, this global information network should significantly reduce the number of intermediate instances and, accordingly, the decision-making time. Lunin has opponents. Despite a sharp deterioration in health, the hero goes to the Novogorsk Tractor Plant and there he finds out the real reason for the downtime, and, consequently, the reason for hiding the data. Knowing that he has only six months to live, Lunin abandons the operation and does everything possible to protect his project.

Farther Than an Arrow's Flight

The TV series is devoted to the topic of the artist's responsibility for every word he writes. In the center of the plot is the wandering of an artist-journalist of a Kyiv newspaper. He faces a number of internal problems: how to get along in a big city, the existence of true love and finding the answer to the eternal question - "Who am I?" External events echo the psychological crisis of the main character. In search of himself, he travels to the villages of the Kherson region that were flooded to create reservoirs - somewhere under the water column is his parents' native village, a metaphor for Ukrainian culture and historical memory mutilated in the 20th century. The man's concerns are closely related to the surrounding world: the atmosphere of the film reproduces the confusion of the entire nation: "What will happen next, after communism and its ideology?" In the yard, everything points to the imminent collapse of the perestroika.

Gelli and Nok

Gelli and Nok accidentally find themselves in the same boat and for several days they sail together along the river to the sea. He is a convict fugitive, she is young, outspoken and pure. Gelli managed to bring the disappointed Nock back to life, gave him love and happiness

The Trial in Ershovka

In the village club of Ershovka, a trial is underway against Yakov Vorobyov, who is accused of intentionally setting fire to the forest. Gradually, the trial turns into a public gathering, where the villagers openly discuss the rampant alcoholism that plagues their community.
