Thummelumsen

All three seem friends at first, but gradually Steen starts pushing Mulle away while pulling the impressionable Bjørn with him towards more and more violence.

Panik i familien
1905. A couple of cheerful traveling salesmen, Hansen and Larsen, are on their last round of visits to customers before settling down in the big city to open their own business selling women's underwear. They hold a farewell dinner for one of their old customers in Lilleby. There is a ball at the hotel, and a couple of young ladies make the acquaintance of the two friends, which will have consequences in more ways than one.

Danish teens come of age in 1963. Bjorn and Erik are close friends. Bjorn is pursued by Kirsten, a future Stepford wife, but he falls for Anna, who initiates him into love and sex. Erik is somber, caring for his home-bound mentally-ill mother while his strict father rules his life. He desires Kirsten, but she's unattainable. Pregnancy, a horrific abortion, an engagement party, and a revelation about the rectitude of Erik's father lead to a climax: Bjorn and Erik must stand up to controlling adults.

Kidnapped
Anno 1826. Grethi Birger is 17 years old and is now all alone in the world. Her mother is dead, and she has never known her father. Grethi are now looking for the mother's only sister, aunt Birger who has a laundry in a remote provincial town. Aunt is of strictly religious disposition, receiving sister daughter with cool goodness. When the young county clerk Peer discovers that Grethi is heir to a large fortune from his father, he plans to marry her without telling anything about the legacy.

Peter is a failure as a writer and composer and decides to take his own life. In the midst of his attempt, he encounters two businessmen who are desperately short of money. The three make a deal where Peter takes out a life insurance policy and lives a year in luxury with everything paid for, only to commit suicide and give the money to the businessmen. And then all that's left for Peter to do is give it his all for twelve months. And that's what he does...

The attic of a city house is the home to a colony of artists. Among them is a writer, whose corpus is larger than her output. We also meet a hard-of-hearing poet who can still hear the grass growing. There's a painter, a sculptor and more. All are penniless - hoping that one day they will experience their breakthrough. "The Seventh Heaven", as the corridor is called, also houses two prominent residents, Fyrtårnet and Bivognen. They have set up a small diner and engage lively with the artist from the colony.

In "Ugens Ekko," the editor's greatest asset is "Aunt Oda," the renowned "love doctor" who provides the magazine's readers with advice and guidance on matters of the heart every week. Only those in the know are aware that "Aunt Oda" is in fact the young poet Ambrosius Hansen, who once impressed editor Vestergaard with some words about women.

One such person is Peter Blomberg, and with him, butcher Lund and his wife won a quarter of a million Danish kroner! In 1936, that was so much money that you could throw it all around and radically change your lifestyle. And Mr. and Mrs. Lund do so in the most festive way... and Blomberg should also have a piece of the cake...
