In this classic German thriller, Hans Beckert, a serial killer who preys on children, becomes the focus of a massive Berlin police manhunt. The story takes place in the Dolomites, where a conflict arises between the clergy of a monastery and the inhabitants of a shanty town for construction workers over the water supply.
