Eugenio Derbez (born September 2, 1962) is a Mexican actor, comedian, writer, director, and producer. He has appeared in many films and television series, including The Book of Life, The Angry Birds Movie 2, and CODA. Derbez provided the Spanish dubs for many characters in the Spanish versions of American films, including Dr. Dolittle, Mulan, 102 Dalmatians, and the Shrek franchise.

The film tells the story of Ariel, a 21-year-old who decides to form a rock band to compete for a prize of ten thousand dollars in a musical band contest, this as a last option when trying to get money to save their relationship and reunite with his ex-girlfriend, which breaks due to the trip she must make to Finland for an internship. Ariel with her friend Ortega, decides to make a casting to find the other members of the band, although they do not know nothing about music, thus forming a band with members that have diverse and opposite personalities.

XHDЯBZ. The show was a Mexican sitcom produced by Televisa and broadcast by the Canal de las Estrellas network. XHDRBZ emulates a television channel that broadcasts sketches. When a sketch finished, credits were shown, like in a real television program. XHDЯBZ was created by Eugenio Derbez in 2002, whose series marked his debut as producer. The show ran for two seasons since 2002, until 2006. Derbez ended production, choosing to expand one of the show's most popular segments, la Familia P.Luche, into its own hour-long show. Both shows are broadcast in the United States on the Galavisión network. Today the show is transmitted in Latin America and Europe.
