Flikken Rotterdam takes place in Rotterdam, and is after Flikken Maastricht the second Dutch spin-off of the Flemish show Flikken.

A story on the trials and tribulations of a mother-and-son relationship, which goes downhill after son Damiaan passes his school exams and almost immediately moves into a squat, while his widowed mother Aleid falls for the charms of a skipper and moves in with him just as soon.

Former Amsterdam police detective Floris Wolfs has been transferred to the police department of the south-Dutch country town Maastricht. His metropolitan experience nicely complements the local expertise of his new country colleagues, who know the folks. Slowly he fits in, while solving countless crimes together with his female partner Eva van Dongen.

Robertico is living in Curacao with Noella Maduro. While he is preparing to ask her to marry him, something happens to Ken Maduro, Noella's dad. Things go wrong, and Noelle tells Robertico she wants a time-out and flies to her dad in The Netherlands. Noella has to take her fathers job in hosting an special auction together with an wealthy young man. When Robertico finds out about this, he also flies to The Netherlands to win over Noella. With the help of his aunt Judeska, the other staff of FC Kip"Radjesh,Noltie & Kofi", and Asian hustler Ping Ping, he hopes he can convince her to marry him.

Crocodiles in Amsterdam

An unlikely friendship blossoms between Elsa, a preppy, idle, spoiled blond who calls herself Gino, and Nina, a wannabe anarchist who plots with three others to blow up an arms factory. Nina is often sour and tempestuous, but with Gino she's spontaneous and funny. Yet the friendship often founders, as the feckless Gino spoils Nina's frequent and demanding plans. They decide to rob Gino's rich uncle to pay for bombs and creature comforts, they sneak into a stranger's house, they steal a painting belonging to one of Gino's boyfriends, bombs fail to explode, and Gino costs Nina the trust of her anarchist pals. Then comes the crocodile test, the ultimate for any friendship.
