After meeting a vampire, the Shilov brothers discover superpowers in themselves. Sergey and Lyokha learn that in the city building of the research institute there is a portal between the worlds of people and evil spirits, which periodically drop in to visit. The film takes place in the late 90s. The main character undertakes to organize a competition for young musicians. Who should become the winner of the competition, decided in advance. The performances are attended by unknown musicians representing a variety of musical genres and trends. They have different views on both life and music. Of course, the competition does not go as planned.
